In this employee spotlight, we’d like you to meet Parts Specialist Amber Scott from our West Sacramento location and forklift technician Colin Casados (also a stand-up comic) based out of Livermore.

How I got started as a parts specialist: Working in the parts department at Carmax
What I like about my job: Every day I get to learn new things and work with great people.
What It’s Like Working at TMH: Everyone is nice and very helpful. This is more of a family style environment. It’s a great place to work with lots of room for growth.
Favorite movie: Save the Last Dance
More about Amber: In my free time I like to go shopping, play lotto scratchers and Bingo.

Colin Casados – Forklift Technician, Livermore

First job: My first job was at Ardenwood Historic Farm in Union City, CA when I was 16. It’s a farm that hosts company parties and weddings; I was a member of The Picnic People.
How I got started as a forklift technician: I’ve always worked on my own vehicles. I heard about the forklift tech opportunity with Total Industries from my cousin, Tony “Lunchbox” Haggard, who also works here.
What I like about my job: I love the crew I work with in the shop. All day, every day feels like I’m just hanging out with my friends…which I am!
What It’s Like Working at Total Industries: What sets TMH apart from other jobs I’ve had is the family feeling we have here. I can literally walk from my work stall to the owner of the company’s office. Everyone is so nice, and we all work together great!
Favorite movie: Man on FireMore about Colin: In my free time I enjoy spending time with my children, Kaylie, Evan, & Noella. I am a professional stand-up comedian and I perform usually between two to three times a week! (Follow me on Instagram @colincasadoscomedy)
