Rich Andres

Founding Owner

Rich was born in New York and grew up in Boston, Virginia, and Northern California, following his father, a Naval officer, he transferred coast to coast over a twenty-year period.

Because of the moving around, the longest he spent in any one school was 3 years at Mt. Eden in Hayward, California, where he graduated. Upon graduation, Rich joined the Marine Corps for 3 years, spending half of his tenure in Vietnam.

His time in the Corps was a great contributor to his professional career, teaching him leadership, and how to deal with people and many challenging situations. As Chairman his time in the office is spent advising the Total Industries executive team.

Rich is proud of the legacy he created for his family and continues to look for expansion opportunities. When not at work he can be found at his beach house with his wife Joanne, and their Goldendoodle, Sonni.

Mark Andres

President & CEO

Mark joined Total Industries in 1995, beginning his career as a Utility/Shipping Clerk and working his way up through Rentals and eventually into Outside Sales. After almost (10) years in the field, Mark moved into Sales Management, absorbing  Marketing responsibilities as the company continued to experience exponential growth.

Mark’s passion was initially fueled by not wanting to be known “as the boss's kid” but with success and experience that eventually evolved over time. Today Mark’s clear mission statement and set of core values lead the way:  “We strive to always try and be first, best, and different while most importantly being the best place to work in our industry”.

Mark was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He enjoys spending time with his wife and (3) children, “heading for the hills” for adventures in their travel trailer and getting in a run whenever there’s the chance.

Stephen Andres

EVP/Chief Operating Officer

Stephen joined Total Industries as a Marketing Assistant in 1998, but he always found himself assisting with parts and service operations. He committed himself to fully understanding the ins and outs of the company operations.

A few years later, Stephen was confronted with a surprise visit from an OSHA inspector for a comprehensive site inspector. In the course of the inspection, he recognized major gaps in safety, processes, and organization. While still maintaining his marketing commitments, Stephen created policies and procedures for the service department, helping grow the culture of safety on the team. He now serves as Chief Operating Officer, where he enjoys the daily challenges and successes of working with his team.

During downtime Stephen spends most of his time with his wife and 2 boys, keeping active while running, playing baseball, or tinkering with his classic car.  Stephen has a passion for food and enjoys cooking up great meals for his family.
